LeTonya F. Moore, Esq, CEO & Co-Founder
LeTonya F. Moore, Esq., an accomplished award-winning attorney, boasts a distinguished career spanning over two decades serving as a federal regulatory and civil rights lawyer fighting against discrimination. Attorney Moore has specialized experience in civil rights disability law, including special education law. She is a former federal regulatory attorney and litigator and is no stranger to serving members of the public.
LeTonya F. Moore’s journey into special education law is deeply personal and profoundly moving. Throughout the years, her father would tell a story about how he would feel bad while in school for feeling dumb. He would look at words in a book and they would jumble together. He would have to hold the book very close to his face and the word would simply jumble. Eventually, he dropped out and took menial jobs. Until he was referred for a position and the woman doing the hiring asked him why he was holding the paper so close to his face. He was embarrassed and was going to leave. She would not let him leave, but instead sent him over to have an eye exam. Being that this was the segregated South, he was hesitant at first, but he needed this job. It was at this moment he realized, he was not dumb, he had an eye condition. Her intervention changed the course of his life.
Attorney Moore’s pivot into special education law was somewhat unintentional but welcomed. It began when she encountered a parent desperate for help; their child, who had special needs, was suffering severe neglect at school due to a speech delay and difficulties expressing himself without acting out. Witnessing the profound impact that adequate legal support could have on this family, LeTonya felt compelled to assist.
She drew on her skills and knowledge from the civil rights and business worlds into the realm of education advocacy. Her passion for ensuring equal educational opportunities for children with health problems and special needs was ignited, driving her to dedicate the next phase of her career to making a tangible difference in the lives of these families.
Attorney Moore’s dedication to her field has not gone unnoticed. In 2024, she was honored with the Outstanding Leadership Award from Education 2.0 for her exceptional work in education advocacy. Additionally, the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) recognized her as the Top Attorney of the Year for her tireless efforts and impactful advocacy in special education law.
Her expertise and contributions have also garnered her several prestigious awards both within the United States and internationally. Beyond these accolades, Attorney Moore is actively involved in groundbreaking research projects focused on the proper integration of neurodivergent individuals and leveraging cultural differences to boost profitability in the STEAM sectors.
Attorney Moore is a valued member of numerous professional organizations dedicated to law and education, continuously contributing to the advancement of these fields through her advocacy and expertise.
Tania Williams, Esq, Managing Partner & Co-Founder
Tania Williams is the Managing Partner for Williams & Moore LLP and advocates for families and children with developmental needs in administrative hearings and in court litigation. Tania began her career as a prosecutor handling misdemeanors and felonies for adults and juveniles in Orange and Osceola counties in Florida. After leaving the State Attorney’s Office, Tania became a civil litigator and gained experience with wrongful death, neglect and abuse claims against rehabilitation facilities and premises liability claims. Tania also served as outside counsel for a Fortune 500 company in the area of employment law. As an employment lawyer, Tania became well-versed in Title VII, Title III and ADA claims. From 2009 through 2015, Tania was a Critical Skills Instructor for Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law. As a member of the law school faculty and staff, Tania gained experience working with law students who required test accommodations. Tania became familiar with the processes and procedures students had to endure to have the same chance to excel on their exams as others. She also experienced the barriers students faced in receiving those same accommodations for the bar exam when a diagnosis was missed before they began law school.
As a litigator, Tania has tried over 100 trials during her career.
